"a Direct Indexing Spindle Apparatus" -in industrial phenolic and various hardware

This accessory bolts onto the outboard handwheel of my woodlathe. It allows for the direct subdivision of surfaces and circumferences of pieces mounted upon the lathe spindle. It is the primary requirement to transform a simple wood lathe into an Ornamental Lathe.

The hole sequences of 7,11,13, 96, 120, and 144 run the perimeter of the large wheel rim, with an alignable pivoting pin that locks up the motion of the spindle.

As such, an object mounted upon the lathe can have divisions incribed or machined corresponding to all the many integers that can subdivide into the various holes bored into the perimeter of the main hub.
