"A Mounting Flange" -in cherry

This was made for a customer needing a way to suspend a newly purchased custom chandelier from her living room ceiling: as much as I would like to claim it, I did not make the actual glass chandelier in the photos.

The custom ceiling flange was turned from a large block of laminated cherry lumber, then drilled and counterbored on the drill press for mounting lag bolts. The finish is a proprietary process I've developed: it is an actual chemically induced patina over copper on top of wood.
